Our Commitment to You

Anchorstrong’s foundation services are designed to EXCEED the “minimum standards” of the building code and give you a foundation that will last decades into the future.

As a pledge of our good faith, and to demonstrate our belief in the quality of our services, we do not collect a single dollar from our customers until we pass a final inspection on their projects. 

Further, we offer what we believe to be the strongest warranty in the industry. 

If your foundation shifts or cracks due to downward moving posts and piers or foundation work that was not completed to code at any time for 5 years after your job is completed, you will be covered.  We provide a third-party insured

warranty to cover up to 10X the cost of your project (capped at $40,000) to take necessary corrective action.

Warranty coverage may be selected for lesser dollar amounts at a reduced price.  Some warranty coverage requires annual inspection/maintenance.

MOST COMMON FOUNDATION WARRANTY MYTHS

Below are some of the most common misconceptions we have heard from our customers regarding foundation warranties.

MY WARRANTY IS IN EFFECT THROUGHOUT THE LIFETIME OF THE HOUSE.
Your warranty is only in effect as long as the contractor who warrantied it is still in business, unless the contract has a third-party insurance backing their warranty.

MY WARRANTY WILL COVER THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND FOUNDATION.
Typical foundation warranties will only cover the actual work performed. If you’re a REALTOR reading this, please don’t tell your clients that the whole house is covered. A warranty Anchorstrong means that we will cover any adjustments needed to posts and piers for 10 years after installation.

AFTER THE WORK IS COMPLETED MY HOUSE WILL BE PERMANENTLY LEVEL & I WON’T EVER NEED MY WARRANTY.
Beware of any foundation company making these claims. The goal for each repair project is to get structures back as level as possible without causing more damage. However, due to the constant movement of California soil, we cannot guarantee your home will not move again. While we are unable to guarantee soils and weather will not cause future foundation issues, we are able to honor our warranty by adjusting any of our piers to help deter further foundation damage.

MY WARRANTY WILL BE IN EFFECT AS SOON AS I BUY A HOME COVERED BY AN EXISTING WARRANTY.
Transferrable warranties are an excellent benefit, since they can be passed down from owner to owner. However, they do not automatically cover new owners. The company holding the warranty needs to be notified that a home purchase has transacted (typically within 90 days from the date of closing).

MY WARRANTY IS FULLY ACTIVATED ONCE THE FOUNDATION REPAIR IS COMPLETED.
In most cases after the work is completed a passing (and recent) plumbing test is required before your warranty is activated. Why? Whenever a home is lifted, there is the possibility of plumbing damage. If there is a plumbing leak, your foundation will no doubt shift. Due to this, we require a passed post-plumbing test before any warranty work can be completed and/or transferred.
